A Global or Regional Life Member shall be any individual who pays prescribed dues determined by the GLO-INDIA Board, prescribes to the GLO-INDIA bylaws and is approved by the Board. Life members shall be eligible to vote in an election and contest for an officer position after one year of their admittance, if nominated by the GLO-INDIA Regional Board of Directors. They shall enjoy all the privileges of the regular member associations.
An individual who has distinguished himself/herself in any artistic, scientific, educational or humanitarian activities by rendering outstanding services to the Global Indian Diaspora or any other community shall be invited to join the GLO-INDIA Alliance as an Honorary Member if there is an unanimous decision of the executive committee, and after such a resolution has been ratified by a two-thirds majority of the Board of Directors at its regularly convened annual or any other special meeting. Honorary Members shall be exempt from all dues but shall be entitled to all privileges of membership except the right to hold office or Vote in an election of officers of GLO-INDIA.
